Our Story

In 2016 I started making my own pre workout after not being able to find ones that I liked. All the pre workouts I tried, and researched had either proprietary blends that didn't disclose the breakdown of the ingredients, were missing key supplements and/or didn't have enough of the ingredients to be effective, leaving me to have to supplement further. 

I started buying ingredients in bulk and mixing them in my kitchen, experimenting with them finding out what worked and what didn't, what mixed well together, and what didn't, what upset my stomach, and what didn't. Over the years I have perfected the formula which is used in our pre workout. 

Being in the military, I was stationed at various bases overseas from 2002 until August 2019. After moving back to the US, while in my kitchen mixing up some pre workout, I decided that it was time to start my own company to start providing a quality pre workout to those that want the best. 

In January 2020 I formed McKay Ventures LLC, and in May launched Zeus Supplements with Pina Colada and Blue Hawaiian flavored pre workouts as our introductory products and protein powders coming out before the end of the year. 

A deployment to the Middle East the second half of 2020 has slowed down the progress of Zeus Supplements, but a vegan protein powder is planned for early 2021.
